Eligibility Criteria
- Complete the “Designer” level certification
The “Professional” level certification in the Gravity Sketch Certification Program is available to those who have:
- Completed a “Professional” level training course with a member of the Gravity Sketch Design Consulting team
- Completed a “Professional” level training course with someone external to Gravity Sketch who has been certified as a “Gravity Sketch Certified Instructor”
How will you be assessed for the Professional Certification?
- If you are working towards your certification with a Gravity Sketch in-house Design Consultant, your consultant will assess your skills against the below requirements
- If you are working towards your certification with an external “Gravity Sketch Certified Instructor” your consultant will assess your skills against the below requirements

đź’ˇ Following the 5th session you will be asked to complete a skills test, for you to prove everything you have learned so far to be assessed by a Gravity Sketch trainer. Please note that this skills test is not a test of your ability as a designer, but of your basic knowledge of the software, and so a simple sketch is fine.

Assessment Criteria:
- Ability to use Gravity Sketch to create speed forms
(rated on a scale from 1-10; 8+ being a pass)
- Proficiency in 3D to 2D workflows
(rated on a scale from 1-10; 8+ being a pass)
- Refined 3D sketching & surfacing skills
(rated on a scale from 1-10; 8+ being a pass)
- VR & Screen Collab presentation skills
(rated on a scale from 1-10; 8+ being a pass)

Curriculums for the Gravity Sketch Professional Certification
We have provided a curriculum for both Footwear and Automotive design, which will both cover the core skills needed to pass certification. If you have a particular interest in learning Gravity Sketch in relation to one of these design verticals, or indeed a different vertical such as Industrial Design or Apparel Design, please speak to your Gravity Sketch instructor.
